How to Apply Kohl Rimmed Eyes

Kohl eye makeup has been in existence since ancient Egypt probably around 3000 BC. They use it for medical purposes and to ward off evil spirits. This was still done in various parts of the world up until today like India, the Middle East and some parts of Africa.

But for the sake of beauty women of today use it to create an enticing and bewitching sexy eye makeup. Imagine Cleopatra's eye makeup but a bit soften today.

Mila Kunis usually dons this dramatic eye makeup look at its best. It accentuates her big gorgeous eyes perfectly. It is both intense and captivating. You too can have this look and it's very simple.

Note: As an alternative, you can also use black or dark charcoal colored eyeliner to recreate this look.

1. Prime your eyes.

2. Apply eyeshadow. You can also skip this step if you want to get away with eyeshadows.

3. Now it's time to apply the black or dark charcoal colored eyeliner on your upper and lower eyelid rims. Connect the application on both eyelid rims and tight line your eyes to make it appear more polished.

4.  Smudge it lightly using a smudge brush or a Q-tip. Get rid of any harsh lines and blend it properly so that it looks diffuse.

5. Curl your lashes, apply mascara and continue with your usual makeup routine.

I just love how it drew attention to the eyes.

Note: Because of the intense eye makeup we just did, I would strongly recommend you to apply light colored lipstick and flushed cheeks. Balance it out and don't make it look too overwhelming on your face.
