Review : Skin79 : Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions BB Cream

Monday, December 30, 2013

The internet has been raving for this BB cream called Skin79 : Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions BB Cream. Various awarding bodies and organizations ranked this product as part of the top 5 best brands for BB creams. After doing much research, I didn't hesitate to check it out at Watsons.

COMPANY CLAIM

A triple function blemish balm cream that shields skin from premature aging with potent SPF 25, while whitening skin and reducing existing lines and wrinkles. The creamy formula effectively covers up skin imperfections, creating a perfect base for makeup and foundation. Skin feels and looks fresh, with a gorgeous matte finish all day long. Recommended for combination and oily skin types.

WHAT I THOUGHT

I find that the product has a thick consistency so its best to apply it in small amounts on your face first and gradually build up the application until satisfied with the coverage.

Pros
  • Medium to Heavy Coverage
  • Smooth finish
  • SPF 25
  • Built it moisturizer. This is what makes me love BB creams because of the built in moisturizer it helps me lessen the steps in my makeup routine.

Cons
  • Gave me breakouts
  • As I've said earlier the product has a thick consistency which I don't like because I feel like applying super heavy makeup on.
  • A bit expensive. Price is at $36.90 SGD.
  • Another company claim is that it can whiten the face but I didn't notice any significant difference on my face at all.
  • It cakes after a few hours.

To note, I didn't experienced any reduction of fine lines or wrinkles on my face as I don't have any. I didn't finished the whole bottle because my face started to breakout uncontrollably so I gave it to my mom. By the way, she loved it because it covers her age spots so well. She kept on asking me to buy another bottle for her since she had finished it already. I guess this product is not for me. I won't be buying it again for myself. If you're face easily breaks out then it's best to avoid this product.
