DIY: How to Distressed Jeans

How to Distressed Jeans

I super duper love this style of jeans. They are so edgy and chic. I'm a bit practical so I didn't bought mine. I just find an old pair of jeans and revamped it. I'll show you how I did it.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • chalk or fabric marker or any marker available
  • tweezer
  • cutter
  • cardboard or any solid surface to work on

HOW TO DISTRESSED JEANS

1. Find an old pair of jeans you won't regret distressing. The worn and washed up it is, the better.

2. Fit the jeans and mark the areas where you want it to distressed.

3. Place the cardboard or any solid surface inside the jeans where you want it distressed. (I used a thick magazine paper and fold it twice.) We do this so that it won't ruin the other side of the jeans.

4. Start making cuts on the mark using the cutter.

5. Tweeze out the white threads on the top and bottom of the cuts and remove those dark fabrics.

6. Repeat the steps on all the other marks.

And you're done!

Now you're ready to rock and style it up!

Check out how I styled mine.
