Review: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

My baby suffers from severe eczema. If your child suffers or had suffered from eczema you'd understand how frustrating it is. Ugh!

No miracle cream has ever worked for everyone. As in... no one size cream fits all. What might do wonders for someone doesn't necessarily accomplish the same for you nor your baby?

Here, I'll be sharing our experience with CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. As you may have noticed our tub is almost empty. Stay with me and keep on scrolling down.

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream Product Review

I heard about the product at the Baby Group Board. A handful of moms testified how it helped the eczema-prone-skin of their little ones under control. Nope, it won't cure it. Rather helps the skin recover from dry, itchy, and scaly to smooth and soft to the touch.

Having learned of what other moms claimed, I then ordered a tub for my baby. Day one, a couple of days then a week had come and gone and the tub is almost empty...

Pros:
  • It has a thick consistency but absorbs easily.
  • Isn't greasy.
  • It does not irritate my baby's skin.
  • The price is affordable.
  • Non-scented.

Cons:
  • Didn't help my baby's eczema-damaged skin.
  • I notice residue on my baby's skin during bath time. (Note: I do reapply this on my baby's skin throughout the day. Also, I don't wash my baby every single day since we're always indoors.)

For sanitary purposes, I'd recommend the version that comes with the pump.

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream Product Review

I've tried a lot already. But here, I'm still hopeful that's there's a product -- or whatnot that is the right match for our baby's skin. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is not it for us. So I'll keep on looking.
