The Year 2022 in Review

Was it all just a dream? It feels like one to me. My little boy gently snored on my left while I replayed all the wonderful memories we made in Canada. Wet balls rolled on the side of the cheeks. Three years sure is a short time. No, I have no thoughts of ever going back to the past, but I wish I could be more present, more absorbed, and more in tune with the moment.

As the Psalmist wrote,

“Teach us to count carefully the days of our short lives.
Then we will be wise in how we live.”

Spring

Ontario finally opened up after two years. Life normalized. Meaning... you socialize once again and are no longer required to show your vaccine passport to enter public places and wear a mask.

Summer

This is by far the most eventful season of our lives as a family.

We visited La Maison Lavande in Monreal.
Day trip to Kingston, Ontario. Love the popsicles from the Asian shop downtown.
Drive 45 minutes to Calypso Waterpark on weekends
Learn to ride a bike. Yes, after 35 years of existence on this earth. Haha.
Go camping.
Glamping in Tobermory.
Staycation for the kid's 5th birthday at Gatineau, Quebec

Fall

Ride a cable car in Mont Tremblant. To me this place resembles a lot like Europe due to the cobblestone streets. Though I haven't been to that continent.
Got our US green card after 3 years wait. Yay! Life update here.
3-day Trip to Old Quebec.
