Canada-US Road Trip to Home: Climb up the Lookout at the Bass Pro Shops in Memphis, Tennessee

At Memphis, Tennessee, we climb up the lookout at the Bass Pro Shops to get a bird's eye view of the city. We paid $8 dollars to get to the top. But if you dine up there, then it's free. I wish we had opted to have lunch there but we were already full when we arrived from Nashville. Check out our visit to Nashville here.

The elevator to the lookout is located at the center of the pyramid. It's so high, I get jelly legs. Haha. It's about 300 feet by the way. That bridge from the upper left side of the photo above separates the state of Tennessee from the state of Arkansas.

There is a pond with live fishes, an aquarium, lodging, a shop, a lookout, and restaurants at the Bass Pro Shops. So yes, there's much you can do there.
