Culotte Jumpsuit x Men's Leather Jacket

I had it pretty rough last week. Workplace drama is not my thing. I don't like confrontation and all the emotions involved. I don't know about you but I don't like being bossed around. Who does?

I keep on reminding myself that this is just work. Don't take it personally and let go. It's no big deal. In the light of eternity, this is just temporary. After all, people and situations change.

Still, this thing needs to be dealt with. Ugh! And the solution is to speak up.

I believe feedback is important to foster a good working relationship with the team. No one has to be left out and gossip is not good either.

What I did goes against my shy and reserved personality. You could just imagine my discomfort. Thank God this all happened behind the computer screen. Hallelujah for technology!

And so, winter is over, Texas heat has started to roll in. The weather is nice to be shooting outside. It was quite windy with a little chill in the air. Hence, I've layered my look with this leather jacket from Rosegal to keep the chilly air at bay.

Hmm... aside from the workplace drama, I do miss working in an office with the team. You know, those times when you turn off your alarm in the morning and drag yourself to the shower to be able to punch in on time. Haha!

What I really love though is dressing up the part. Now, I do it on Sundays so I look forward to church service every single week.

Well, situations at work are unavoidable. People are different and individual perspectives are legitimate. You can't control others but you can always control you. My endeavor is to be open-minded and work toward better solutions. After all, we have one ultimate goal and that is to the continued success of the company.

So how do you handle situations at work? If you were in my shoes, would you speak up as well? or how would you do it differently? Enlighten me then.
