Review: The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel

I remember the many times when me and hubby would make visits at The Body Shop because we're such fans of tester products. Our favorite must test are their hand creams. It's such a pity they don't sell the Cherry Blossom Hand Cream anymore. But anymore for this post, I'm going to review a shower gel from The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel Product Review
Note: Photo not mine

I was looking for a body scrub at that time when the saleslady offered us a promotion. And because we couldn't resist it we ended up buying a body scrub, 1 shower gel (which is this product), 1 shower cream, and 2 fragrance oils.

I forgot how much we've paid all in all but all I can remember is that we've made a good deal. The saleslady told us that The Body Shop Shower Gel in Passion Fruit is limited edition so we decided not to miss it out.

WHAT I THOUGHT

The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel is contained in a see-through bottle with a flip cap where the gel easily comes out. This shower gel is greenish having a lovely light consistency and a sweet fruity scent.

Pros
  • The lovely fruity scent that lingers on the body after washing but doesn't last that long afterward.
  • Foams and lathers really well. I love how it foamy it is.
  • The shower gel is easily discharged from the bottle.
  • One bottle lasts for a while. The hubby and I used up a bottle for a month.

Cons
  • Pricey. Good thing I bought mine on sale.
  • This shower gel is greenish. It may stain especially on a white body scrubber or sponge.
  • It can be drying. After a month of using the product, the dry skin patches on my hubby's fingers got worst. Applying moisturizer after washing is really a must!

I don't think I'll be sticking to this shower gel. It's one of those products you'd consider buying if sold on sale. I hope this review of The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel is of help to you.
