Stonehenge II and Easter Island Head Ingram, TX

Tuesday, July 05, 2016

Hi y'all! How was your weekend? I hope all went well with you. The US celebrated it's 240th anniversary of independence yesterday which could only mean, long weekend! Me and the hubby went on a 2 hour and a half roadtrip to Ingram, Texas to check out the Stonehenge II and Easter Island heads (actually, there are 2 of those easter island heads that can be found in there). The hubby was a bit disappointed driving 130 miles from the east of Austin only to find out that it's not really much of a spot. But I'm the positive to his negative. Haha! :D Afterall, it's all about the journey not the destination, right? ;) I actually love the countryside scenic views on our way to Ingram, Texas: the beautiful vineyards, rolling hills, deers prancing about, big rolls of hay, golden wheat fields. Ahhh, just by mentioning the things I saw on our road trip to Ingram, TX makes me feel relaxed.
