Dan Jerusalem Hotel: Where To Stay in Jerusalem, Israel

Dan Jerusalem Hotel in Israel is a five-star hotel located in a tranquil setting away from the city's bustle. It sits on the historic slopes of Mount Scopus, overlooking the romantic skyline Jerusalem and surrounded by the rolling hills of Judea.

The hotel is designed for a series of patios. Do check out my post: Israel Travel Itinerary for more Israel travel tips and inspirations.

I'm glad Omega Tours & Travel Pte Ltd arranged this five-star hotel as a choice of hotel during our stay in Jerusalem. It is a very beautiful hotel giving us stunning vistas all around and easy access to Jerusalem's prime attractions. Don't be fooled by the picture above because it was very cold when I took that from the terrace lobby.

The Lobby

The hotel is on fire! (lol) The design of the hotel lobby gives an allegory between these two contrasting elements: fire and water. I'm not sure what it is but I find it rather mysterious. But as for my untrained eyes, I could only say that fountain looks like it's on fire. It's mysterious and beautiful at the same time.

Finally, our room keys were handed to us. We were the last couple given our room keys. Sure, we're tried for the day's activities but I'm still grateful because it gives me time to curiously navigate around and see what on the next corner.

The Room

They'd given us a double room with two beds instead of a couple bed. So hubby and I just pushed the two beds closer so we could still be sleeping next to each other. This doesn't really bother me as the bed is doing a great job making me warm and comfortable on my sleep.

The level of thickness of the comforter is just right. It gave me the right amount of comfort especially when I wasn't feeling on the 7th day of the tour and had to be back at the hotel room early to rest up.

I love our room. Uhhhm.. it feels nostalgic writing this post. :/ I'm missing Israel as well as our hotel room.

What I Thought

I've noticed that hotels in Israel don't provide toothpaste and a toothbrush as well as room slippers unless you'll request for it. I'm not sure why this is so because most of the hotels we've checked in to usually provide these basic necessities. So be sure to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. I'm glad we did.

The food is good although there's not much variety compared to our last hotel in Israel, Leonardo Club Hotel Tiberias. The drinks are not for free during dinners as compared to breakfast. But the desserts are a must-try. You must really make room for these sweet little babies. Hehehe! I also find the tables and chairs too crammed up as compared to our hotel in Tiberias.

But overall, this is a very beautiful hotel. I would love to check in here again if given the chance to be back in Israel. The hotel boasts of beautiful patios, mysterious fountains, stunning views of Jerusalem and a prime location with easy access to Jerusalem's main tourist attractions.

If only we were given the time to explore this hotel then we would probably enjoy their amenities knowing they ranked as a five-star hotel. But even if we only had a brief stay and lounging time at Dan Jerusalem Hotel, I could still say that the check-in is still worth every penny.
