Simple DIY Project for Beginners: Repaint Pottery Bought from the Grocery Store

Hey there! I'm back to doing DIY projects again. I'm no pro though. I could only do simple tasks like repainting a pot. Haha. But wow, a simple change of hue makes a huge difference.

I got this pottery from H.E.b., a grocery store here in Texas, USA. I paid $20 USD for it. Love that cute detail on the side. Since this is an outdoor pot, there is a hole in the center for watering. I sealed it with an air dry clay. The instructions say to leave it for two-three days to harden. But I gave it 24 hours before changing the paint.

No paint primer was used here. I'm a little impatient to do that. Immediately, I brush it with matte black acrylic paint mixed with this chalk paint in truffle. Let it dry for 24 hours. Or blow dry. I confess I did the latter. Then, seal my work with this spray paint. And what do you know, It's done. Easy peasy. I'm glad how it turned out. :D
