Tuesday, May 19, 2015

Inspired by the revitalising botanicals of the Mediterranean, our conditioner helps reseal and smooth the hair cuticle while imparting a healthy shine. Featuring moisturising avocado and olive oils, conditioning avocado extract, rejuvenating olive extract, and hair-strengthening wheat and silk proteins. Helps protect colour-treated hair. Formulated without parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, propylene glycol, and colour. ~ Crabtree & Evelyn

DIRECTIONS

After shampooing, distribute conditioner evenly through hair. Leave on one to two minutes for regular conditioning, and up to five minutes for intense conditioning. Rinse thoroughly.

WHAT I THOUGHT

Last weekend, I did some light shopping at TJ Maxx. I was suppose to look for a body cream or body lotion from the beauty shelves when I saw this lone hair conditioner from Crabtree & Evelyn. I didn't hesitate to buy it because it smells really good plus it was sold for only $4.99 USD. I know full well that Crabtree & Evelyn usually sells their products at a higher price so this product's affordability is a bit unusual. Not that I'm bragging or anything. In fact I don't like to pay expensive products because there are a plethora of other brands that can do the job at a lower price. The original price is at $19.99 USD. So yeah, I'm so blessed to stumble upon such a good deal. :D

Pros
  • Affordable. Got it at $4.99 USD at TJ Maxx. Original price is at $19.99 USD at their website.
  • Lovely sweet scent. It's scent is also one of the reasons why I picked it up. I love how my hair smells so good after coming out of the bath. The scent unbelievably lasts a long time too. Honestly, I don't wash my hair everyday that means I don't use shampoo and conditioner that often. Using this conditioner, both me and my husband noticed that the scent still lingers even after 3 or more days.
  • My hair feels so soft after application.
  • The product easily comes out from the tube.

Cons
  • It has a runny consistency which I don't like.
  • It doesn't create bubbles at all and a small amount of product only covers a small area so I had to apply a generous amount of it until satisfied.

I'm a Crabtree & Evelyn fan. I love their products especially their subtle yet lovely sweet scents. I did other product reviews from them before too, Crabtree & Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Eau de Toilette and Crabtree & Evelyn Pear and Pink Magnolia Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy. I've received a handful of ultra-moisturising hand therapy products from Crabtree & Evelyn last year before we move to the US because some of our friends know that we love this brand. Ahahaha!

Have you tried Crabtree & Evelyn's Avocado Olive & Basil Hair Conditioner Intense Moisture For Medium to Thick Hair before? If so, please let me know what you think of this product in the comment section below. I would love to know about them too.
