Sunset at Kota Park

Monday, January 06, 2014

Last week of last year we went back home to the Philippines to spend the holidays with our families and also to check on my husband's family who experienced the wrath of typhoon Hainan November of last year. The good news is that they are now rebuilding and slowly picking up their lives as well as the other victims of the super typhoon. I wanted to extend my thanks to all the people who selflessly help and donated for the people affected.

His family lives north of Cebu in an island called Bantayan. The travel from Cebu to Madridejos, Bantayan Island Philippines is about 7 hours including the waiting time and transfers from land - sea - land. It was tiring but worth it. The island is surrounded by sugary white sands and crystal clear waters however December is not a good time to come since it's very windy especially the trip by sea.

This was taken at Kota Park Madridejos Bantayan Island Cebu, Philippines during sunset.

What I love about the dress I wore is the vertical stripe design on it. It gives the illusion of a taller physique. I paired it with a beach hat and wanted the whole look to be relax and simple.
