My hair is something I've struggled with when it comes to styling. I've watched countless tutorials on youtube with regards to hairstyling but I always end up disappointed. Why is this so hard? Have you been there? I've steered clear from dying my hair because I want it to be as au natural as possible or because I don't want to use too many chemicals on my body. I've dyed my hair since my teens, so I thought of making it rest for a while to prevent further damage. Honestly, I find this part of the body hard to take care of. There are days when my hair looks dry or greasy. How would you address those bad hair days?

  • Okay, this may be a no brainer solution, but I found that hats are a great way to hide those 'hard-to-tame-locks' during those bad hair days. Wool hat's and beanies help level-up your looks for fall/winter. I really like this knit beanie hat with fur pom-poms in rose. Isn't it cute?

  • Braids or Buns. I just can't wait for my hair to grow at shoulder length level.
  • Oily hair? Dry shampoo or baby powder could help. I haven't tried the baby powder trick just yet but this solution helps absorbs excess oil and adds volume to your hair. Make sure to distribute the product evenly to get rid of the unwanted white residue. You don't want your colleagues to see those on your hair, right? I'm currently using Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo. My hair is jet black which reflects a lot of light. I don't wash my hair every day, so I have to make sure to get rid of the excess oil because it's uncomfortable to walk around sporting oily locks.

Study Conducted on the Best Dry Shampoo

I came across an interesting research conducted by Reviews.com about "The Best Dry Shampoo" available in the market today. Out of the dozens of products/brands that they've studied, they've narrowed it down to 5 of the bests. Seriously, it can be overwhelming to choose from the abundance of dry shampoos found in the market today, but if you want to make sure that you'll get the most out of your dry shampoo then you might want to check out their article from this link before deciding what to get. I promise it'll be helpful.
