SOUVENIRS MADE BY IHAWIG PRISON INMATES

There are some shops around Palawan which sells hand craft items made by inmates at the Ihawig Prison. The revenue will go to the inmate's family to help feed them. By this they believe that the inmates will realize that there is a reason to live upright.

PLAZA CUARTEL & IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHEDRAL

These two places are located side by side. What happened at Plaza Cuartel really moved me to compassion. If you want to know why. Then read the story written at this commemorative rock.

At the opposite ride of the road is the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Sorry I don't have photos at this site.

SHOPPING

Last but not the least we went shopping. I didn't take a photo at this area since I was so engrossed shopping. I just love accessories! They are affordable there in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

These are the things we did on the first day of our Puerto Princesa, Palawan trip. We enjoyed the experienced and the bonding as a family.
