Review: ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 in Porcelain

Whenever you visit your home country, what do you usually do? I figured, first on the list will be eating all the foods you've missed. Then visit your extended family or relatives. Spend your hard-earned money relaxing e.g. massage and going to the beach.

(I was born on the beautiful island of Cebu, Philippines where crystal clear beaches abound.) And of course, shopping!

ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 in Porcelain Product Review

I currently live in Singapore. It is hot and humid, the same where I was born in the Philippines. I personally, don't apply heavy makeup because who has the time? I clearly don't! I'm always hurried to work.

Anyway, I've long been looking for a foundation/cream with SPF. I also prefer one with light coverage. I'm sure you've heard of the no-makeup makeup look. That's what I want to achieve. On one of my shopping trips back in the Philippines, I saw the ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20. "This is it!" I thought. It's a moisturizer with a tint and has SPF on it. Let's see how it fares. Keep on reading.

Product Review

ELF's Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 has aloe, cucumber, and vitamins A, C & E. It has a light coverage, great for pool lounging, frolicking at the beach, touring South Asia where it's hot and humid or for everyday use. Below are my thoughts on this product.

Pros
  • Affordable. I bought this product for PHP 249.75 in the Philippines.
  • Travel-friendly. I bring this with me whenever we travel.
  • It's a moisturizer and a foundation in one. I like that it has SPF for sun protection. Isn't it amazing? It saves me 3 steps on my morning routine.
  • Easy to apply, blend, and squirt from the tube.
  • Has many shades to choose from.
  • Doesn't break me out.

Cons
  • Smells like your regular sunscreen
  • This is a minor one. No matter how much I rub the tube clean, it remains dirty looking. As seen in the photo above.

Overall, I like this product. It's affordable. This is what I bring whenever I travel. Have you tried ELF's tinted moisturizer with SPF? How do you like it? If not, why not give it a go and see if it works for you.
