Review: Etude House Marble Marble Blush

Last week, I've shared with you tips on how to apply blush. I thought it fitting to share a review on a blusher from Etude House -- called the Marble Marble Blush.

This is available in three shades: Pink Holic, Ultra Super Hue, and Rose Marble Peach. Unfortunately, this product line is discontinued. Still, I'll be doing a review on the Pink Holic shade below.

Etude House Marble Marble Blush Product Review

Product Review

I bought this blusher from a bazaar at Raffles Place MRT basement, this is in Singapore, last year. I couldn't resist since it was on sale. I bought it for $5 SGD. Great find!

Pros
  • Cheap for $5 SGD.
  • Cute and sturdy packaging. Travel-friendly too.
  • Lasts all day. No need for a retouch.
  • One container lasts you a lifetime. Okay, I'm exaggerating. I like that this is compressed and compact. It's not messy to apply compared to loose ones.

Cons
  • Not sold in Etude House stores anymore. This line is discontinued.
  • Too much shimmer compared to the color payoff. If you like glittery blushers then this is for you. It does take time for the color to come out. I have to reapply the product on my cheeks several times, which means multiple layers of shimmer as well.
Here's a swatch under natural light and under fluorescent light. I have to swipe the product several times for the color to come out.

Etude House Marble Marble Blush Product Review

Preferably, I favor the matte blushers. This product is pretty shiny for my taste. Not good since I live in a hot and humid country. I don't like the effect when mixed with sweat and facial oils.

This blusher, also from Etude House could be better. It has sebum control.
